Men's Ministries

Attention: open in a new window. PrintE-mail

Men's ministries are a vital part of real gospel life at Christ Memorial. We encourage men to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, mentor others in gospel-driven living, and introduce newcomers to the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. Members are discipled as home group leaders, ministry leaders and elders.

Each Week...

... you'll find men like you -- young and not-so-young; married, single and divorced; fathers, grandfathers and fathers-to-be -- hanging out at CMC.

The first Friday of each month you'll enjoy a hearty, free meal at our Men's Power Breakfast, coupled with a talk that applies the gospel to your life, your family, and your work.

Every Tuesday (on non-breakfast weeks) from 6:30-7:30am men spend time in prayer asking God to work in their lives, in their families, and in our church. Check the calendar for dates.

Men's Sports

Pick-Up Basketball (November-April)

Grab your sneakers and grab this opportunity to hang out with men of all ages and abilities (and even some high schoolers) who have at least one thing in common: they enjoy an intense game of pick-up ball. Join us Sundays from 3:30-5:30pm in the church gym.

Fall Football Classic - Date TBD

Join us for a friendly game of touch football and warm up with a meatball sub and hot chocolate. Watch the calendar for details.

Fall Golf Scramble

Kick off our men's ministry year with something to eat, something to hit, and something to talk about. No experience is necessary for this 18-hole best-ball event. Watch for information on our 2015 Golf Scramble.

And don't forget our co-ed ultimate Frisbee games Sunday afternoons throughout the spring and summer.

Men's Winter Retreat

Start the year with a time of spiritual challenge - not to mention ping pong, board games, snow football and sledding. The retreat will be January 9-10, 2015. Click here for more. Click here for Men's Retreat audio.

 Leadership Development Institute (LDI)

LDI is designed as leadership training for young men. Get your feet wet in learning how to lead or hone your skills as a leader. This is an opportunity to be challenged spiritually and prepared to take on the responsibilities of serving the church. We meet on Sundays. Check the calendar for current dates and times.
