Wes is founder and senior minister of Christ Memorial. After earning his MBA from Miami University (Ohio), Wes began his pastoral studies in 1985 at Dallas Theological Seminary. He earned an MAR in Theology from Westminster Theological Seminary (1990), and an MTh from the University of Wales (2010). In 1991, Wes, his wife, Sue, and their young family moved to Vermont with a vision for planting gospel-preaching churches. CMC was born of that vision. In 2000, CMC launched The NETS Institute for Church Planting (NETS), a church planter training center, where Wes serves as president. Wes has taught as adjunct faculty at Redeemer Seminary and Wales Evangelical School of Theology. Wes and Sue have five adult children. They keep busy ministering to the body at CMC and rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes, and relish whatever time they can get with their two granddaughters.
Craig Combs, Senior Associate Pastor
Upon graduating from Western Kentucky University, Craig spent eight years in full-time youth ministry, all while earning MAR and MDiv degrees from Westminster Theological Seminary (where he is currently pursuing a DMin in preaching). For 13 years he served as senior pastor for congregations in Pennsylvania and Virginia. He moved to Vermont in 2003 to be part of NETS and helped plant Redeeming Grace Church in Georgia, Vermont. In addition to preaching at CMC and at our daughter churches, Craig serves as a preaching mentor for NETS. He and his wife, Betsy, have been married for over 20 years and have five children.
Greg Burton, Executive Pastor
Greg graduated from Nyack College with a degree in Christian education, then went on to direct an inner city youth mission in New Castle, Pennsylvania. After working in banking for a number of years, Greg founded Burton Cleaning, which he still owns. He has served as executive pastor of CMC since 2001. Greg and his wife of 25 years, Beth, have four children from high school to young adult.

Brad grew up attending Christ Memorial Church. After graduating from Bucknell, he earned an MDiv at Southern Seminary. He serves as an assistant pastor and music minister. Brad and his wife, Alyssa, have two young children.

Nathan, a native Vermonter, served in the Air Force for a number of years after graduating from the Air Force Academy. He then earned a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Ruth, moved back to Vermont with a desire to plant a church and are currently in the NETS Residency program. Besides overseeing the Youth Ministry at CMC, Nathan and Ruth keep busy with their three young children.
